About Us
Lead Director of Sahee Counselling
Sajeda Patel ( MA BSc Dipl MBACP )
Hi, just a little bit on how we got here. I grew the organisation from the initiative of wanting to establish a service for the needs of the muslim community. As muslims there is a need to work with professions who are aware of the cultural and religious context that forms part of our identity . Also, there can be barriers preventing people reaching out for support as a result of the stigma that exists towards what is an acceptable way of being. I am very grateful and optimistic in the work we are doing within the community الحمد لله , which has provided new ways to reach those struggling and in normalising the use of the services انشالله.
